I am staying by Eiffle Tower for 2 nights and Latin Quarter for three. What are some things we can do at night?? Any other areas of the city that are great day or night.

Depends what you are looking for, particularly in the area of night life. I would search for comments from Jona, who gave some good recommendations for nightclubs recently. For learning about other areas of the city, just read Rick's Paris guidebook -- you should not go there without it! But my favorite areas are, the Marais, Ile de la Cite and St. Louis, 1st and 2nd arrondisements. And St. Germain (the 6th). The heart of the city.

I suggest taking a Big Bikes Tours and then chat it up with the guides for suggestions. They are in the know about what's happening in Paris.

I just love the area near the Eiffel tower at night. My wife and I often get a bottle of wine and some cheese and hang out in an adjacent park. Sometimes at the bar in the tower we try to learn slang from the bar man. Sometimes find a cafe in a nearby neighborhood and people watch. For two nights you will have plenty to do.
