We are trying to decide on these hotels:
St. Remy: Les Atelier de Image or Hotel Sous les Figuries Antibes: Hotel Beau Site or Hotel Baie Doree Other suggestions?
I know nothing about the other hotels that you are considering but we spent five nights at Sous les Figueres and liked it. Each room opens to a nice private outdoor space and there is a common lounge area with beautiful chandeliers. Rooms are ensuite with good beds and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was extra-about 10 euros pp but worth it. Parking is gated and secure and it is a short walk to the center of St Remy. The rooms in the back of the hotel (really more like an inn) are the nicest with outdoor seating under huge fig trees. There is a pool but it was too cool in early June for us to use it. This hotel was recommended by someone on this forum and we were happy to hear about it. Market day in St Remy was fabulous.
Can't say that I've stayed in any of those, but I was St. Remy in May where we stayed at Cigale et Fourmi. It's a B&B that I cannot recommend strongly enough. Joclyne (sp?)is the consummate hostess and she has an outdoor kitchen (so Provencal), swimming pool, provides excellent breakfast each morning and you have your own private entrance to the property that is a 3 minute walk from town. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. We had a room with our two daughters (9m and 2y) and there was plenty of room for all of us. She even has a bigger room if you need that. Highly recommended.
I second everything that Susan from Georgia said!
