We will be in Madrid for the beginning and end of our trip in mid July. We were thinking about going to a spa and getting massages. Any recommendations for a great spa with relaxed and polished atmosphere??

While we didn't end up doing it, when my husband and I were in Madrid last March I'd researched various spas by using Maribel's Guides. She has city guides based on personal research for a variety of places in Spain, including Madrid (and is often recommended on TripAdvisor.com). The spa info for Madrid is on page 31 of the .pdf.
Sorry I couldn't help with personal experience, but your post caught my eye because it was something I'd researched before.
