Looking for spas in Munich, Rhine and Mosel area. Have been to Baden Baden, but cannot go this trip. Wife included.

Why not go across the border into the Czech Republic (Karlovy Vary or Marianske Lazne) where everything is cheaper? Marianske Lazne is full of Germans anyway. This wouldn't be too far from Munich. Look at the map.

Just north of the Mosel river is the Ahr river valley with Bad Neuenahr as main town. The entire area is a spa area. Traben-Trabach right on the Mosel is that valley's only official spa town. Bad Wildstein is another spa town in that area. Bad Homburg, Bad Soden, Bad Nauenheim are spa towns in the greater Frankfurt area. Bad Kreuznach is close to the rhine river valley. Bad Endorf is a famous spa town on lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. Bad Wiessee is another famous one in the Lake Tegernsee area. Google "Heilbad Oberbayern" for the Munich area, "Heilbad Rhein" for rhine valley and "Heilbad Mosel" for the Mosel valley.
