Spas and Horseback Riding in Normandy?

My husband and I will be in Normandy for 6 days at the end of Sept/Oct this year.

His main passion will be visiting the Normandy beaches and D-Day sites. Which I am sure I will also enjoy, however, I would like to have a 'treat' while I am there too.

I would either love to go to a spa for a few hours or possibly have a horseback ride on the beaches or the trails for a few hours. I have scoured the internet and haven't found anything. Most horseriding is tours for a few days and all I really want is a few hours.

Also there doesn't seem to be many spas or ones that I have found are more baths etc. and not places for facials/pedis etc.

Can anyone assist or let me know if this is even possible?

Thanks looks lovely - but too far away from where we will be - you have to take a boat there!

I was in France last October and went for a 2 hour horseback ride in the Dordogne area. I found the stable on the internet before I left and it was one of the best riding experiences I've had (I'm an experienced rider and go on rides whenever possible when I'm on vacation). I did find one place in Normandy... here is the link. http://www.lesgallops.com/pricelist.php
Have fun!

Google 'horseback mont st-michel' and see what happens. I'm not a horse fan, but have seen people riding there.
