Spanish National Day/ Día de la Hispanidad

Hi, We will be in Spain on National Day - Oct 12. Does anyone know if where I can find out what things will be open/closed? Or where I can find out about festivals/parades? We are in route from Sevilla to Granada that morning. Thanks!

Got'cha! You're probably pretty lucky to be traveling on that day as it'll be generally quiet throughout Spain. But once you get to Granada, you'll find a lot of things open in the old, touristic center of town around the Plaza Nueva. According to the Alhambra Schedule Page, they don't close on the 12th, but they do change their OPEN hours on the 15th of October. Anyway, you won't have any problem with bars and restaurants, they'll be open. Shops and department stores will be closed, however, but some of the souvenir shops would stay open in the tourist centers. Saludos, MadridMan/BarcelonaMan/GranadaMan @ you-know-where!
