Are shops, restaurants, museums, etc closed on this day in the Andalusia area? and I will be in Madrid until the 11th, are there alot of festivities getting ready for this holiday that would effect my visit? Thank you.

We were in Andalusia last year in October and spent the 12th in Cordoba visiting the Mezquita. The hours of the Mezquita were slightly changed but none of shops and restaurants seemed to be effected.
Sevilla had some closings but it really didn't effect us much at all. I don't remember hearing anything about festivities leading up to the holiday.
