What is the best option for travel between Madrid and Segovia. The fast AVE train which arrives outside of town or the bus?

The fast AVE train....no chance of being caught in traffic jams. They coordinate the local bus in Segovia with the AVE arrivals, so you won't have to wait more than a couple of minutes to catch the bus to downtown, right in the shadow of the aqueduct. The bus fare is something like 87 cents Euro...the driver will make change, but they get a little upset if you present a bill of 10 or 20 Euro, so try to keep a couple of coins on hand for that. The bus back to the station will leave from the same place it drops you off....the schedule is posted on the bus stop. It's about a 15 minute run.
