Hello I am an Indian Citizen currently on a student Visa in the United States. I plan to travel to Spain towards the end of December 2012 for 15 days. I need a Tourist Schengen Visa to enter Spain. I have a friend in Barcelona who will be sending me a letter of invitation. My question is: I plan to spend about 7-8 days in spain and rest in some other schengen country. I am not sure which and will decide after I arrive in Spain and meet with my friend. Do I need hotel reservations for countries other than spain? Ideally, I would like to just get an invitation letter from my friend mentioning I will spend all 15 days in Spain. In that case, will they give me some kind of Spain-Only Visa instead of schengen? --Vijay
