Spain - Multi-part planning questions.

After seeing Barcelona and Madrid I have two nights in Granada. The uncertain part is what comes next. I will have eight days/nights before I have to be in Madrid for my flight home. I think I could spend 4 nights for Nerja, Ronda, Arcos-Jerez. Then at least two nights in Seville. Then one day each in Cordoba and Toledo on the way back to Madrid.

My questions are:

(1) I know I can't do justice to it all but how would you split 4 nights in between my time in Granada and Seville?

(2) Synagogue sites in Cordoba and Toledo are closed on Mondays so my timing means that these two cities can't be on consecutive days. Could Cordoba be done as a day trip from Seville?

4) I am planning to have a car from when I leave Granada until I arrive in Seville. So maybe I should do Cordoba for a day as I come in to Seville rather than after I have gotten to Seville and returned the car???

(3) I fly out of Madrid on a Thursday at noon. Would it work to have stayed in Toledo the prior night and still get to the Madrid airport by 9 AM or whatever is needed?

BTW, I read about jeep trips into a nature reserve at Donana National Park, near Jerez. So it would be nice to try to add that from a base in Jerez or Arcos. Or on the way from those cities to Seville. Has anyone seen that park or taken the jeep trip?

in researching for our trip in May, I've become quite interested in Toledo and think it's worth at least 1 nights stay plus a day and a half- not Monday of course, that gets tricky doesn't it !.we always stay in the city we're flying out of the night before-just in case. but if you check out the Renfe schedules, and metro's from Atocha to the airport, you may be able to go from Toledo to your flight in that time. we also plan several nights in Sevilla with a day trip to Cordoba by train. I might suggest 1 less day in the hill towns and add to Sevilla or stay in Cordoba.you may want to add a last day/night in Madrid with a day trip to Segovia-train from Toledo through Madrid to Segovia, then back to sleep in Madrid before next day flight. so many places to see !

If you were considering a Monday in Toledo, but want to visit the sights that will be closed on Monday, you should consider staying Monday night and visiting those sights on Tuesday (obvious answer i know) because Tuesday is also market day in Toledo. So if that interests you, just another reason to do Toledo on a Tuesday.

I've hiked a bit in the Donana NP, it's ok, but I wouldn't go back -- just not that great, especially for the amount of time you have available. Have no idea about jeep trips.

You'd better check the train schedules real closely if you're considerng leaving from Toledo -- it's a good seventy-five miles from there to the Madrid airport. Assuming you'd have to be at the check-in counter by 7:00 at the latest, it might be in the too-hard-to-impossible category.
