Does anyone know if there are luggage size restrictions and / or limited number of pieces of luggage on the trains and planes in Spain? I have a backpack with a zip off day pack but some of the others in my travel group may have two pieces of luggage.
Jill You will need to check with the specific airlines you are traveling on. Don't forget the discount airlines are even more strict. You may have to dig to get the details on these airlines though. I know that Vueling, the discount airline of Spain will definitely fine you big time if you do not adhere to their rules. Bobbie
There is no limit on trains. You can carry on as much as you like.
Discount airlines make a lot of money off baggage fees so be prepared to pay for anything larger than a small carryon. As noted on your other thread, trains are unrestricted but you'll have to find a place to put large items if it's crowded.
No limit that I know of on trains but remember, you do the carrying of them on and off! Planes - very expensive, depending on the airline it may be even more expensive. As noted in a prior post, check their rules carefully.
