Spain in February

Hello,

We will be spending a week in Spain in February. We are flying into Barcelona and want to see sights near Seville, Toledo, Granada, and maybe a trip down to Morocco. Are we attempting too much? We are thinking of taking a 1-way Vueling flight from Barcelona to Seville and then driving back to Barcelona to see the sights...

Thoughts on this plan?

Our goal is to see historically interesting sights while enjoying warmer weather... (it has been cold here in Bratislava).

Thanks for input!

I would say rule out Morocco; not enough time. It's still a pretty ambitious plan. Is it a 9-day week, Friday evening to the following Sunday? If so, I would propose Barcelona until early Monday morning, then a Clickair flight to Granada (20 Euro if you purchase by 28 Jan.) See the Alhambra and Granada Monday and Tuesday, then take the bus to Sevilla late Tuesday afternoon; about three hours, same as a train, and a lot cheaper. Wednesday and Thursday in Sevilla, then the fast AVE train to Madrid that evening (72 Euro). Friday and Saturday in Madrid (maybe one day for a day trip to Toledo via AVE fast train), then Sunday morning, an early vueling flight back to Barcelona for your flight home (25 Euro for their 7:10-8:25 a.m. flight). If that's to much go-go-go, cut out Granada for this trip, and add another day in Barcelona (for the beaches) and another day in Madrid. Book your airline tickets ASAP, and try to get your AVE tickets in Barcelona, or book online at renfe.es
