Hi Travel Gurus! a friend and I (F, late 20's) are travelling to Spain end of April. We had planned on going to Sevilla first but with the festival there the lodging is expensive and scarce. So now we're thinking about heading down to the Med Coast first instead and then hit Sevilla at the tail of the trip. We have up to 3 nights, 4 days from Madrid before our reservations in Grenada. Any suggestions? We had looked briefly at Almeria. We don't have a car so bus/train/taxis are only mode of transport. Really looking for something not touristy; mainly be hostelling it; we don't want shopping malls and aren't huge partiers (not that we won't be sampling plenty of vino and sangria); are outdoorsy so don't want to spend the whole time touring cathedrals. Suggestions for cities/towns we could get to (or cool day trips from a place like Almeria) would be great!
