Spain - Food warmers/microwaves

Hello,
I am visiting Spain next month (June) and wanted to know if the hotels have microwaves in the room or common area. I have 2 year old son and might need it for heating his food (late night or early morning). Let me know. If there are way to get around the microwaves then please let me know.

Thanks a lot!

Hotels rarely have microwaves unless you get an apartment hotel that has a kitchenette.

At two years old your child could easily just eat cold food, yogurts , cereals , biscuits and fruit,, just make sure hotel room has a mini fridge or mini bar, you can remove the booze and put in the food you buy. That is what I have always done.

Azim,

Many hotels don't have a microwave for guests to use but check to see if your hotel has room service. If its a bottle or a jar of food, they may heat it for you.

If you're wanting a snack late night, don't worry about it in Spain. You can literally go out at midnight and find a place open for a snack.

One of the things I most like about Spain is the humanity of the people. Regardless of whether the hotel has a microwave available for guests, if you explain the situation to the staff, I'm sure that they will go out of their way to find a solution. Also, as a former bartender, I agree with Michelle, a late-night visit to a bar is as good a way to warm a baby's bottle as any.
