Does anyone know what the best, free, audio tours of Spain and Morocco would be? I know RS does them for Paris and Italy, and I've done them all. Now I'm traveling to Spain and Morocco, and would like to find something comparible. thanks. Tom
This doesn't answer the exact question you asked but hopefully will give you another idea, if you end up not finding any audio-guides you like: If you really really liked (just to take one examaple) Rick's self-guided tour of the Prado that appears in his book, but Rick doesn't have an audio tour of it (yet), you could record it yourself using one of the small cheap digital recorders available and take it with you (with earphones of course). It wouldn't be Rick's voice but hey....Another option, if it's technically feasible (I haven't done it and don't know) is to do the same thing but record it in a format that can be downloaded to your MP3 player instead of a digital recorder. Obviously, this would take a little time for you to make the recording--just an idea. If you've already purchased the book, and Rick hasn't done an audio tour of something, and it's only for your personal use--well, I don't think the Big Guy would mind.
I recently heard about a website that I haven't had much time to explore yet. You might find something helpful there. It's called Audio Snacks and contains all kinds of audio tours. www.audiosnacks.com
