My husband and I like to collect Christmas ornaments from the places we travel to, but since we'll be traveling in October, I'm not sure where to find them. Does anyone know of any shops that sell unique Christmas ornaments? We'll be traveling to Paris, Arles, the Luberon, Madrid, and Dublin (for a layover). Any ideas on where to search in any of these places would be greatly appreciated!
In Dublin, you can find Christmas ornaments at any Blarney Woollen Mills store. My sister brought me one when they were there this past June. There is a Blarney Woollen Mills store on Nassau St, I think, just off of Grafton
In Provence in general but especially in Arles there are lots of shops that sell santons- originally meant for creche displays they now come in lots of sizes (but still mostly quite small, which is handy for suitcases)and various occupations but I saw lots of the creche figures, too- so that might be a nice addition.
