I was looking to book a train from Madrid to Sevilla and I want an Outward bound only (one way ticket). When I go to select the train I want it shows it "blocked". Does anyone know why that would be?

The tickets and fares are posted 62 1/2 days before the use date. Perhaps you are outside that time frame.

Hi H J, Actually I remember someone (maybe it was you) mentioning that so I counted out the days to be sure I'm well within that time period and I am. I thought maybe it had something to do with round trip verses one way but that is not the case. maybe a tour group booked what seats were left.

I also had a lot of problems to do my train bookings. Eventually I did them through a company that is in UK - their tel nr is 020 7725 7063 or 020 3137 4464 these people were very helpful and I have to pay 10 euro booking fee per person.

Do you recall what the name of the company was you used. Thanks for including their phone number. We tried for almost two full days to get something booked and absolutely no luck. Finally, we got through by phone and learned that they do not except any credit cards online from countries outside of Europe. You can book by phone but only with an American Express. The other online sites charge large "administration fees" to book trains. Almost equaling the cost of one ticket in some cases. Then want to charge 7,40 euros to provide you with an e-ticket. It's more if you want the ticket mailed. This is crazy.
