I would like to surprise my boyfriend with tickets to a soccer match while in Europe this summer. We will be in Germany, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, and Switzerland from May 20th to June 20th. The order of the countries is very flexible and would probably be decided on with the date of the match. I know nothing about soccer, and I have been trying to search for matches but I haven't had much luck. I did find a Euro Cup qualifying match, Germany vs Austria on June 3rd. Is it possible to scalp tickets before the game? Would it be cheaper that way or should I buy tickets from a website like viagogo.com? Is there somewhere I can get the schedule of games or a list of the different leagues? It doesn't have to be a big match like the Euro Cup. I just want to experience a soccer match in Europe. There will be no league matches during your visit...the season will be just finished. The only matches are going to be the Euro Qualifiers you mentioned. viagogo will be the best place to purchase tickets. The Austria/Germany match will be in Austria...home teams are listed first in soccer.
