Has anyone slept in Montmartre in Paris? I have found a reasonably priced hotel in this area, and want to know if it is worth the asking price. How easy is it to get to other sites in Paris from this area? Any advice would really help.

Central Paris is quite compact. By Metro and RER you can get from Montmartre to sights along the Seine like the Cathedrale de Notre-Dame and the Musee du Louvre in less than 20 minutes and places a little farther out like the Tour Eiffel in less than 30 minutes.

Well for starters, you live in Edmonds so why don't you just go ask Rick in person??...Other than that, Montmarte is my favorite part of Paris and you can easily Metro anywhere from there.
