Sleep in Versailles?

To save time, when I leave Paris, should I seep in Versailles (after touring the castle) and head the next day to Loire Valley? I am trying to arrange a 2 week trip in France... so far it's 4 days in Paris (inc. Versailles), 2 days in Loire Valley, 1 day in Bordeaux/wine tour/and for proximity to Sarlat, 2 nights, 4 nights Nice....

The fastest way to say, Tours, is to return to Paris Montparnasse and change to the TGV to Tours. That route is 1 1/2 hours. Going via Le Mans is 4 1/2 hours.
