single classic room vs single standard room in paris

What is the difference between a single classic room and a standard single room when The price is the same.

Anne you need to tell us the name of the hotel, it will most likely be explained on the site when you click on room details or more info. I have stayed in some hotels that will even tell you the different square footage etc. Also , thats not a standard hotel catergory, meaning some hotels just use the terms to denote the difference between a room thats a bit bigger or smaller,,( you will find most non chain hotels have rooms that are all different sizes and configurations) . Price can easily be the same if booking in advance or doing a three night minimum stay,, special deals etc, as opposed to the "rack rate" which is the highest normal rate that can be charged . Anyways to get more specific info provide more specific info.

agree with Pat that the terms have no meaning generally. Sometimes I have noticed that "Classic" may mean not refurbished and if its not "Classic" it has been. The only way to tell is either: 1)Tripadvisor reviews 2)call the hotel
3)look carefully at the descriptions.
