Can someone recommend a good sightseeing tour in Salzburg, Austria. I will be there for a day in May. I don't want to do the standard SOM tour but something that concentrates on architecture, history, scenic places etc.

Panorama Tours in Salzburg has various tours. You could also send them a note and they may be able to put something together for you.
