Shuttle from Charles de Gaulle Airport into Paris

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reasonable alternative to the train from CDG into Paris,we arrive in the evening, I've seen prices from $35 to $150?

I've used Paris Shuttle (www.parishuttle.com) several times and had good luck both coming and going. Around $28 per person for two or more people.

We took the Air France shuttle--I'm having trouble finding a website, but if you do an internet search, you'll be able to find information, including a map of the pickup and drop-off locations. Very convenient (for us, it dropped us off right across the street from our hotel in Montparnasse, but goes to other places too) and cheaper than a cab.

Used Golden Air last July to Hotel Muguet.

No problems either way, would use them again.

Hi Mel--We also used Golden Air last March and paid 34 euro both to and from the airport; not sure why they charged Tom 44 in one direction and 34 in the other. We did not share the shuttle with anyone so the trip was quick and direct. We would recommend their service.

We just returned from Paris yesterday. We used Golden Air. The trip is 44 euro from CDG to Paris and 34 Euro from Paris to CDC. The trip from CDG to Paris took 2 hours as they had other people to pick up. BUT, we were taken directly to our apartment. On the return trip, they were running 15 minutes late so the driver called a nearby hotel who came to get us and had us wate in in their lobb for the driver so show up. The trip back to CDG was only an hour. I have read one negative blog about Golder Air but we did not have any problems. Tom

Try Bluvan - they have good rates & are very reliable.

We're using Blue Van. 104 Euros each way for a private shuttle for our group of 6, and picking up at 2 different terminals (I realize no one will need the same thing, but this was about half the price I was quoted from several others). They have been great at communicating with me. They have good rates for smaller groups and shared shuttles also.

A note about BlueVan - In June 2007 I had a prepaid reservation for a CDG/Paris transfer. Well, the van never showed up! I emailed them for a refund and they refused. My bank charged the transaction back to them and credited my Visa card.

I was in Paris earlier this year and took the Roissy bus. I think it cost around 8 euro. It drops you off by the Opera Garnier. We caught a cab from there to our hotel for around 10 euro.

There are several bus lines serving CDG and the city...we always stay in the Montparnasse area, so we hop on the Montparnasse Bus (about 8-10 Euros each), and then walk to our hotel (about 3 blocks from the Montparnasse Tower). First determine where you will be staying, then you can decide on the best route to get there.

We've taken the Air France Coach twice and like it very much. However, we are light luggage types, and not too inconvenienced by the absence of door-to-door service. The Air France bus drops off at Etoile (among other locations), which has worked pretty well on our trips. There's a Metro stop there, lots of cab activity, and presumably a bus stop nearby.

Here's a link that should help: http://transfer.airport-paris.com/air-france-coach-service.htm

Good luck!
