Our party of 6 adults and will be arriving in Paris in mid September. Our hotel is in the Left Bank area. Anyone have recommendation for shuttle/taxi service? Thank you.

Taxi for one person last spring (2012) TO St. Michael was 50+ euros...and he took me to the wrong address and left!!! Be Careful !!!

If you don't want to take the RER into town (the cheapest method), just find the official taxi rank outside your terminal. It is unnecessary and will cost you more to reserve a taxi in advance or to hire a private shuttle. Taxi rates in Paris are controlled by the Prefect of Police. There will be minivan taxis in the taxi rank that can accommodate 6 people. Write your destination address on a piece of paper and hand it to the taxi driver. Ignore any taxi touts that approach you in the terminal; use the official taxi rank only.

If you do a little digging here with the search button you will see very few positive comments about shared ride shuttles in Paris.

Thanks for your replies. We were just concerned that there will be vans large enough for 6 adults with luggage.
