should I get the jungfrau regional pass?

I'll be based in Murren for 7 days...mainly hiking, sometimes out of Wilderswil, sometimes from Murren, would like to explore the valley out of Isenfluh...Definitely hiking up first from Wilderswil up the Schnigye Platte. Only other trip I plan is, if weather is rainy to go to Bern on the rainy day. Is it worth it for me to get the regional pass?

If you are talking about the 6- day Jungfrau Pass, that is a good deal for hikers. It fully covers most of the lifts you will want to use for hiking. Not the Schilthorn, but that is not so much a hikers lift. It covers Schynige Platte and the First gondola, which is perfect for hiking the Panoramaweg ( be sure to take the detour to the Faulhorn, it is worth it). It also covers both lifts up to Mannlichen which offers great hiking opportunities, Pfingstegg, and Grosse Scheidegg. .

ThanksGreat tips. I will get one. I think I have to purchase it once I'm there, right? Also, I was only able to book my ticket as far as Spiez, and though I'm trying to book at ticket from Spiez to Interlaken Ost on sbb, it's not letting me. Any ideas? Or shall I just get one at the Spiez train station? I'm gonna be pretty tired by then! (jet lag)

The Swiss rail site willmonly let you book tickets for travel within Switzerland for the next 30 days. So if you are traveling after June 10, you 'll have to wait to book. You don't really need to book beyond Spiez in advance, as there is no price advantage. But if your transfer time in Spiez is short, it would be a good idea to have the tickets in advance.

It looks like even if I buy the 6 day pass, it doesn't cover the cable car up to Murren, and I will have to pay for that. So I'm wondering if it is still worth it to me. I still have to go down from Murren to get up to Wengen and go up that way to Kleine scheidegg.

I can't seem to access the jungfrau.ch ebsite to confirm, but every map of coverage for the 6-day Jungfraubahnen pass shows it covering as far ad Mürren. Not above Mürren, but it should get you to and from Mürren on the Grutschalp route.
