Can someone recommend a good 3-4 hour hike? We will be using our full day for hiking to/from rifugio bolzano. We arrive to our hotel (in Compatsch) the day before around 2pm and would love to squeeze in a hike, if possible. Also, how long of a walk/hike is it from Compatsch to Saltria? Thanks

Hi there, Refer to RS's book on Italy, there's a great section on the Dolomites and the walks on the Alpe di Siusi - everything you need to know is there.

Thanks. I actually have the book, I am just looking for an alternative (shorter) hike for our short day.
