Has anyone had any experience with taking a 2-3 hour cooking class while visiting Paris? Where, what did you make? costs?

Our group enjoyed Laura Neulat's, "World in a Pan" which you can Google and get more information. There were 4 of us and a couple from Vancouver, no less. The class is at Laura's home. It consist of going to the neighborhood market to select your ingredients and all preparing the meal. We had Seafood Verrines, Lamb Tian from Provence, Chocolate Mousse (heavenly)...and, of course, vin. I really felt like I was experiencing "life" in Paris. We continue to get Laura's newsletters with her recipes....Bon Appetite!

Just scroll down to Short Courses. They are really wonderful, and I love to take the day class. They serve breakfast, a wonderful lunch, and allow you to box up the food you cook to take with you for dinner. So, it is a good deal for the price.

Some friends here in Paris took a course with a Canadian countess in her palace, I think they booked here:
Isango.com.
It looks pricey but they loved it.

If you can handle French, one of the most common schools is Ateliers des Chefs. These classes can be very decently priced around 17 euros for a 1/2 hour single course up to 70 for 2 hours class.
