There's a Longchamp handbag that I would like to purchase. It is a French brand.
I would like to know where to purchase it at the lowest cost possible-- US, England, France (Paris), Switzerland (Bern), or Italy? I think it would be Switzerland because the exchange rate is favorable for US dollars.
Anyone with similar experience (same brand or different brands), share your insight, please :)

I bought mine at a Longchamp store in Paris. I could have gotten it cheaper if I shopped around, but I got the color I wanted and if anyone asks me where I got it..I can say, "Paris!"
Also, if you are a shopper like me, I'd like to suggest Suzy Gershman's Born to Shop series by Frommer's...lots of good ideas!
There was a whole section of Longchamp bags in Galeries Lafayette in Paris when we were there in September. They were also having a sale with everything 20-25% off (or so; can't remember the exact amount) which would have been a "good" deal. :)
I bought mine at Galleries Lafayette. It was a bit less than the boutiques or duty free.
I bought several at the store in Paris. Also have successfully order from the e-store online.
