Shipping Luggage Across Countries?

Hello,
We are traveling from Munich to Luzern, but would like to make two short stops: Lindau and Zurich. Does any one know if I could check in our luggage at Munich to be shipped to Luzern directly (so that we do not need to haul bags in Lindau and Zurich)? I do not see any information on the Deutsche Bahn website (at least the English part of the website).

I know that within Switzerland, I could simply check in my luggage at one train station, pay 10 francs, and my bags will be waiting for me at almost any (Swiss) destination I choose.

Do I understand correctly that you are expecting your luggage to be handled by the train? It may happen in Switzerland but coming from Germany, I don't think so.

Yes, we will be taking the train from Munich to Luzern, and I was hoping that we could "check in" our luggage in Munich and get it back in Luzern (instead of dragging it in Lindau and Zurich).

Anyone with such experience?

Deutsche Bahn has a service where you can either drop off or have them collect your bag and then pick it up in Switzerland....however......it doesn't necessarily travel with you. For Switzerland, it can take up to 5 days.
