What is the best way to get to Evora from Seville : a) plane it from seville to lisbon then train it to evora b) is there rail service connecting the two destinations (preferred way if possible) c) a reputable bus service ?

I do not know what you want from 'best'. a. possibly/probably. b. There is no train journey less than 16hrs.40mins. with a change in Madrid Atocha and make your way to Madrid Chamartin. c. There is little choice of bus service to determine repute - probably your best way is Seville to Faro with www.alsa.es or http://www.eva-bus.com/novo/
Faro to Evora with http://www.rede-expressos.pt/ Does this cover it?
