Is it possible to do Seville with a couple day excursion to Morocco in 8 days from the US?

Yes. You won't need more than three days our so for just Sevilla.

Three full days in Seville will be fine. A beautiful city.

In eight days, you can probably get in stops in Seville, Jerez, Tarifa, a ferry from Tarifa to Morroco, and a daytrip from Tarifa to Gibraltar. We liked all the stops but didn't take a ferry to Tangier, it just didn't seem that appealing. Two days to get a little further from the port, Rabat or Casablanca, might be great though. We were really happy with Hotel La Torre, just outside of Tarifa. It's a good choice if you're driving.

Depends on exactly what you mean by "8 days". Do you mean, you have 8 days for your entire trip - including travel to/from the US? If that's the case, then I'd say no, such a trip would be a waste of your time and money (in my opinion). If you mean, you will be in/near Sevilla, and have 8 full days to spend (not counting the time it takes to get to/from there), then yes, you could do a reasonable (but quick) trip that included a few days in Sevilla and a few days in Morocco. Most people make the big mistake of taking a ferry to Morocco. They see the worst part of it. If you want to go to Morocco, skip the ferry experience. Instead, fly directly from somewhere in Spain to Marrakech or Fes (airfares are dirt cheap) and spend a few days. You will have a much better (and more authentic) experience than the "border town" experience that ferry day-trippers are subjected to. Back to your original question: everyone obviously should make their own choices, but I decided long ago that - at least for me - it's foolish to try to squeeze in a trip to Europe unless I'll have a minimum of 2 weeks there, not counting travel time to/from Europe (and not counting my arrival or departure days). Yes, I know that many people have constraints on how much time they can be away from their homes and lives. I figure that it's not worth spending all the money to go to Europe for a trip that's so short. Maybe if I had a lot more money and could afford to go very often for short trips I'd reduce my "personal minimum" for a trip there, but since I only get to go once in a while, it just seems very unwise to go all that way for just a few days. My point being that, if all you have is 8 days total - including travel time - then I would not recommend even going to Sevilla, never mind trying to squeeze in a side-trip to Morocco.

Do you think a day trip to Rhonda from Seville is worthwhile?
We will arrive in Seville mid day and have two more full days....is that enough time there.....including going to Rhonda or should we add a day?
