We want to rent an apartment but are not sure of the neighborhoods in Sevilla. We need a fairly big one (we're a family of 6), and there are plenty in Trianabut is that too far from the sites? Would Santa Cruz be too crowded with tourists? Any advice would be appreciatedVicky

Santa Cruz would be my choice...central to the area you will want to explore. You might contact David at Really Sevilla Tours and ask him for a suggestion as well.

I would look in the Santa Cruz neighborhood too. While it is very busy on the main streets the side streets offer a close yet quiet place to stay. The location is perfect with easy walks to all major sites and tons of places to eat/drink near by.

yeah santa cruz is the best. you can find family run places with plenty rooms. there are many these families in the back lane very quiet areas. i think lp has some suggestions but they're about the same. if you find a rooftop garden with view would be really nice in the late evenings, when it's cool just sit outside sipping wine...
