Hello there, I've got a speaking engagement in Sete, France on 9/15. I'd like to spend up to three weeks surrounding that, either before or after, and need help deciding where to go. I LOVE Gimmelwald and Paris, was thinking of heading there again, but am torn between going somewhere totally new and somewhere I know and love. I'm a writer so I'm looking for some great food, interesting cultural experiences and especially places to hang out for hours on end writing. I'm traveling as a solo female with limited French. Any suggestions? My friend insists I should go to Barcelona and other parts of Spain and/or Morocco. Budget is not unlimited although flight and hotel in Sete are paid for. Thanks!
