Hi, I am in the process of pre purchasing our ticket to Sagrada de Familia. There are two options- the entrance alone or the entrance as well as the Audioguide. I thought Iread somewhere that buying the audioguide won't work( can't even remenber where I read it). Not sure which option to take. thanks.

We booked tickets with audio guide, but the line to pick up the device was so long we skipped it and went inside on our own. So I cannot say how good the audio guide is. We loved the one for the Alhambra, but that doesn't help with the Sagrada Familia choice.

We used the audio for the Sagrada de Familia and found it interesting and helpful (our kids enjoyed it also). However, it is very possible to get a lot out of it by just observing, either way, it's an incredible site, enjoy!

Bought my tickets online and had a hard time finding the ServiCaixa site - the building it is in was having construction work done on the facade, and I couldn't see the sign. It's to the right of the Cathedral's entry, across the street.
I was able to get in right away, and pick up the audioguide very quickly. I think I was there at about 1-2 pm. The line was long and it was hot, so I was really glad to be able to avoid the wait. A don't miss sight for sure!
