I tried to book an evening cruise at Bateaux Mouches, and the site will not let me choose a date. Is there a way to reserve a particular date and time in advance?

I'm not a pro, but the several times I have taken the cruise- both day and evening, I have purchased the ticket at the time of dept. or very close. Boats leave frequently.

When will you be there? If you are still a month or two away from your travel date, it may just be too soon.

IMO, a cruise with Vedettes du Pont-Neuf is a better experience. The boats are smaller so you don't feel so much like you're part of a herd. You can book on their Web site and you'll get a discount fare for doing it. Go here.

Tim - I've taken the Bateaux Mouches cruise several times and never pre-booked. I'd check out the weather and then just show up a half hour early or so to get tickets.
