Has anyone ever taken a Seine River Cruise at night on the Vedettes de Paris? I'm wondering if you can easily buy tickets just prior to boarding and if so, do you need to get there early to make sure you get the cruise time you want? I've looked at the website and can't seem to figure out how to buy tickets and I'm not sure I want to buy them ahead anyway.

Drop buy the afternoon before you want to travel or the day before, and get your tickets. Be sure and arrive at least 30 minutes prior--an hour is better-- to the departure time so you can get a seat on the top of the boat. If you wander in a few minutes before departure, you will be relegated to an interior seat at best. The night ride is the best and so thrilling to cruise past the ET with all the blinking lights. Don't forget to set your digital camera to night settings. Worth every penny!!
