Has anybody been to Seefeld recently? I studied there as high school student 41 years ago and want to return for a visit next year. But is it too commercialized and "resorty" now? I want to check out the old haunts and would like to stay in town, but I am afraid it might be too much of a tourist Mecca now. Will I be terribly disappointed? Any suggestions?

Charlie, we stayed at the Lamm Hotel in Seefeld 2 years ago. First time for us, and we really loved the town. I did not find it resorty at all. Loved the cafes, and esp. the outside concerts with all the locals, even in the rain. Loved the hillside directly in back of the Lamm and the church. Lovely views of the town and amoung the hills the 14 Stations of the Cross. Lovely area. Enjoy.
