Scuba in Spain Anyone?

Does anyone have any recommendations for scuba diving locations/operators in Spain? I think the only place I will be able to dive is in Barcelona giving the geographical location. I also plan to visit Seville, Granada, and Madrid as well.

Any advice is appreciated.

I havn't dived in that area, but I've had good experiences with the PADI-affiliated dive shops I've used along the south coast of Spain. At padi.com, you'll find an interactive map that'll list operators in the Barcelona area. The good thing about PADI-affiliated shops is that you can complain to the central organisation if there's something not to your liking. They list e-mail contacts, so you can check out what they have to offer beforehand. Be prepared to pay more than what you pay here.
If you don't already know, their tanks usually use the metric system. A standard tank will contain 12 litres of air...when it's filled, you'll have about 200 bar of air, equal to about 3000 psi. They use different underwater signals to check air remaining, and the gauges will read differently as well, so get them to explain the differences.

I didn’t know that. I still consider myself a beginner. Thank you very much for the info.

Don't worry...bring along your certification and your logbook to let them know you're still gaining experience, and they'll help you out.
