SCHEGEN VISAS EXTENSION

we are family of 5 (singaporeans) leaving for munich on monday june 10, and my wife who is holding a philippines passport only received a schegen visas from german embassy valid until june 22. 1. Our original itinerary was june 11 to 16/munich, june 16 to 19/prague, june 19 to 22 venice and june 22 to june 25 florence. 2. May i know if there is any chance for her to extend her visa for another 3 days.(this is her 4th schegen visas).and where can she extend her schegen visas ?
3.You will need at least a month to make appoinment at embassy for schegen visas filing, when she filed her visas on june 3 initially german embassy refuse to accept her application claiming she should file in Italy embassy since our stay is longer in italy, she have no choice but to inform the counsel she will shorten her stay in italy inorder for german embassy to accept her visas filing. thankyou

I'm sorry, but there is probably no one here who has an accurate answer to your question. Most of us are US citizens or Canadians or expats, and we don't have the same restrictions that others do regarding visas. I think you would really need to talk to whatever embassy issued the visa to see if it can be done.

So here is how it works, only one country can be responsible for your visa on a given trip to the Schengen area, regardless of how many countries you actually visit. In the case of your wife that is the German consulate, so any changes that are needed must be made by them, but since your wife already agreed to reduce her trip in order to get the visa it is unlikely they will agree to a change... But give it a try and see. Strictly speaking a visa can not be extended, but it could be cancelled and a new one issued for a longer period, if the German authorities agree. Your wife should be aware that failure to comply with the terms of her visa is a very serious matter, resulting in her being refused entry, exclusion from the Schengen area for a number of years and a possible fine, so she needs to get it sorted out before she goes.
