While planning my trip to Spain, I am having a hard time deciding how many days I should spend in different locations. Then I can't decide if I should stay overnight in Toledo and spend an extra day in Madrid doing a day trip to Segovia, or one less day in Seville later on and spend a night in Segovia or Toledo. Also, I am open to any suggestions of where to stay that is central in each city, no shared bathroom, comforable bed, preferable a minibar so I have use of a refrigerator. Thanks for all of your help The following is my temporary itineary: Sept 10:-arrive in Madrid , September 11-day in Madrid , September 12-day trip to Toledo , September 13-day trip to Segovia Sept 14-train to Barcelona Sept 15-Barcelona Sept 16-Barcelona Sept 17-Barcelona Sept 18-fly to Seville Sept 19 - Seville Sept 20-Seville Sept 21-train to Cordoba Sept 22- Cordoba Sept 23 train to Malaga to meet friends and get car Sept 24-Ronda/Arcos Sept 25 - Granada Sept 26 - Granada Sept 27 - Algecviras Sept 28-Tangier Sept 29-Fez Sept 30-Fez Oct 1 - Fez Oct 2 - fly to Paris
Oct 3=Paris Oct 4 fly home to California
A few thoughts: Don't cut into your Madrid time. There is a LOT to see and do there. If you have to, cut into your Seville time, instead, to stay in Toledo. Overnight in Toledo is a good idea because the daytrippers leave and the city is very different at night. Segovia can easily be done as a day trip.
