Does anyone have any recommendations of a place to stay in San Sebastian? We are traveling there as a rather large family group of 12 for three days and can't afford hugely expensive places. Thank you for any personal experiences.
I liked the hotel we stayed in on an RS tour. It was called the Hotel Parma. There are beaches on two sides of San Sebastian. This hotel is on the quieter side. So even though there is a road outside the windows, it quiets down at night. At least it did when I was there in May 2012. I stayed with the RS tour and then returned there solo after the end of the tour for a few days relaxation. The staff was very helpful but there are no elevators so you have to be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs.
