Does anyone know how far the Rail Station is from the Air Port at San Sebastian? We're flying in and wanted to rent a car but it looks like the closest car hire is at the Rail station. Suggestions???

The airport serving San Sebastian is actually in Hondarribia,a suburb of Irun, right along the French border about 20 kilometers away. There are four car rental agencies there...Atesa, Avis, Europcar, and Hertz. There's a bus that runs once an hour between the airport and downtown San Sebastian, at Plaza Gipuzkoa...from there, it's about a 10 minute walk to the railway station on Paseo de Francia. Or you could take a taxi....about 30 Euro. Or you could take a taxi to Irun's train station and grab a commuter train to San Sebastian station.
