Does anyone know if there are lockers in the Salzburg train station and anything about their dimensions? We will have a large roller suitcase that would be checked on flights - would this fit?

lockers of every size in the lower level of the train station, just walk down the stairs.

Yep. There are lockers of several size at the Salzburg train station. You should not have any problem finding one to fit your luggage.
