If we take a train from Munich to Salzburg, is there transportation available to get to St. Wolfgang? I was not able to figure that out. I also thought that perhaps we could rent a car in Salzburg to just drive ourselves. Any thoughts? Thank you!

For schedule and fare you might also want to try http://efa.svv-info.at. Looks like the trip is by bus (1:25-1:45, €7,90) and runs every two hours from the Hbf

There are quite a number of buses leaving Salzburg Hbf throughout the day. I agree with a previous poster, go to www.oebb.at. Choose "English" language and follow the instructions. This is a very good website, not only for train schedules, but also for buses.
