Salzburg restaurant

We plan to take a trip out to Wolfgangsee from Salzburg one day and hike around. We thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice Austrian dinner upon our return to Salzburg. Any ideas? (Probably around 10 - 15 euros each)

Talk to your hotel concierge...ours at the hotel elephant gave us 5 different ones...we went to one of the closest (sorry forgot the name) near a large square and ate outside in a warm breeze with a great - not to expensive meal and wonderful capuchino and desert...it cost 40 euros for everything.....In all of germany (and Salzburg) I never had a bad meal at the smaller places with 5 - 10 tables outside...and it gave you a "feel" of the place.

We had such a remarkable dinner at St. Peter's Stiftskeller. http://www.stiftskellerstpeter.at/ You can also book a Mozart concert and dinner package.

The restaurant was beautiful and atmosphere, convivial. The food was reasonably priced. We were a party of seven and our meals ranged from good to very good.

The courtyard to the restaurant is just around the corner from the Dom Cathedral.

Enjoy Salzburg! It's an amazing city!
