Salzburg Evening Concert

My wife and I will be in Salzburg in September. We want to do a Mozart evening concert. I have found several concert choices:

The Salzburg Fortress Concert with 4 course candlelight dinner
The Stiftskeller St. Peter Mozart Dinner Concert
The Schloss Mirabell Concert (The Mirabell Marble Hall)
The Salzburg Fortress Concert – no dinner, the Salzburg Card gets you up the hill and into the Fortress for free!

I am leaning toward spending additional money on a separate dinner and doing one of the concerts without a packaged tourist dinner. What is the prettiest location? What offers the best sound?

Has anyone done any of these Mozart performances? What would you recommend? We are not concerned about the cost.

The Schloss Mirabell is gorgeous and the concerts there are highly regarded. I'd vote for that.

The Mirabell Concert would be the prettiest location for dinner. The Hohensalzburg Fortress is definitely worth seeing. Awesome view of the city from the Fortress.

I did the Schloss Mirabell concert on Christmas Day. It was not expensive and I enjoyed the setting very much. I was not sure the concerts with meals would be worth it and I wanted very good meals for the short time I was in Salzburg. I did have a very good meal with great ambiance at St. Peter's Stiftskeller. If you do the Fortress, be sure and go up in daylight to enjoy the views.....
