I will be arriving at the Salzburg train station for a day trip. What bus will get me to Allstadt from the train station? My first stop would be Mozart's birthplace.

I think almost any bus from the Salzburg Hbf will take you to the Altstadt, but for sure, Obus 3 (dest. Salzburg Süd) will. The closest Haltestelle to Mozart's Geburtshaus is Salzburg Rathaus. On the way to the Rathaus Hst you will go past Mirabell Palace. Here is the transit map for Salzburg.
