RS tour Barcelona & Madrid

I can only go away in June this year and was thinking of doing the Istanbul and Barcelona & Madrid week long tours back to back. If anyone has been to Barcelona & Madrid in June, is it very hot? Is it worth going in June or should I wait until next year and go in the fall? I went to Florence the end of May and it was very warm then. Thanks for your input.

Click on RS 2011 tours, select the tours you are interested in and along the right hand side of the screen should be a list of other sites to visit. The last one should be Tour Weather which turns up the city and a calendar to see the temperatures and # of dry/rain days.

Hi Ann I did the Spain and Morocco tour this last summer (end of June -July) and it was hot, though it was hot in most of Europe. Since we had planned on the heat, we weren't surprised and the guide did a great job of keeping people in the shade. The hotels we stayed at all had AC as did the bus. Everyone handled the heat well, no complainers and it really wasn't that much of an issue though I'm sure it would have been nicer if it was cooler. I can only go during the summer with my job and have been to Europe the last six years during that time period. I know there will be others that tell you not to go but if that is the only time you have and it is where you want to go, then do it. If you have ever been to Pike Street Market in the summer, then you know what crowds can be like. Have fun.
