Hello. I am looking for a hotel with air conditioning available during the Tour de France this year. Crazy, I know! We will be taking the train from Tours to Rouen for the chance of a lifetime to see the Tour and obviously so are lots of other people. Any help or suggestions would be great. Iwill need to rearrange a lot of other plans if this simply will not work. Thanks, Joan

Rouen is in Northern France and summers usually do not get super hot. Yes, there might be the occasional hotter day but I would risk it and book a hotel without ac if nothing else comes up.

joan, I think you can expand your search to include non a/c hotels in Rouen. Its by the sea so will cool off at night, and air moves.. not like Paris in summer. This may be why most places will not have a/c there.
