Bonnie, I'm also looking for a hotel in Rouen and I'm researching booking.com. They have reviews from guests who've stayed at their listed hotels in the last year, maps with locations, and generally good descriptions and photos.

Thanks. I was trying to go direct to hotel rather than a booking agent but I might need booking.com after all. Bonnie

Bonnie, you can look hotels on booking.com , then just google for the hotels own website and contact and deal with them directly, if the rates are better or if they offer a different deal ( breakfast or something)
I often look on many sources for information and reviews of hotels ,, see what they offer for rates, then deal directly with hotel, I have also used booking.com too to book. I just go with whats best after comparing.
